Joelette excursions
We will accompany you on a joelette to the most beautiful places in the Apennines.
The joelette, designed for simple family walks to sporting events, is a special off-road wheelchair that enables even disabled people (who are normally excluded from participating) to go hiking in the mountains.
The joelette can go on any trail, there are no limits. Depending on the difficulty of the trail, the number of joelette drivers might be higher in order to hike safely.
For a flat trail or a trail with a small elevation gain, even 2 or 3 drivers are enough. For a trail with medium/high elevation gain, the number of drivers increases. The exact number of drivers is calculated on a case-by-case basis.
Therefore, the longer and more difficult the hike, the higher the cost but… If you want to experience one or more joelette rides, please contact us and we will figure things out for you so that the JOELETTE RENTAL IS FREE OF CHARGE.

You will fly over the ancient Roman city of Alba Fucens (AQ).
Takeoff from a flat field is very smooth. The ascent is also very smooth; accelerations are not abrupt or sudden.
Similarly, the landing takes place in the plain without any particular oscillation. This type of flight normally does not create dizziness or states of fear. However, in case of need or difficulty of the passenger, it is possible to land on the ground in a short time.
Regarding flying with people who have motor difficulties, the passenger’s seat is equipped with a sort of belts for legs. In this way, the limbs are secured and fastened to the structure.
The passenger seat karabiners are releasable only by the pilot or the person preparing the passenger. The experience consists of three parts: briefing, flight and de-briefing.
During all phases of the flight, the passenger does not need to cooperate actively, however, she/he should remain still.
The flight altitude ranges from 200 to 600 meters above the ground. You will fly over the ancient Roman city of Alba Fucens (AQ), a Latin colony from the 4th century BC.
In this way, you can visit the archaeological site with its amphitheater, the Romanesque church of St. Peter and the Benedictine monastery from above. The surrounding landscape includes several peaks of the Abruzzo Apennines, some of which are higher than 2 000 meters (6 000 feet) (Monte Velino and Monte Magnola).
